Chong Shao is a Consultant with Information Integrity Solutions Pty Ltd (IIS). He joined IIS at the end of 2010 as a writer and researcher. He has assisted with Privacy Impact Assessments and the provision of legal, governance and privacy advice in areas such as e-health and health information registers, the national occupational licensing scheme and unique student identifiers.
Chong provides research on thought leadership in privacy and assists with speeches, presentations and articles, on diverse topics such as identity management, trust and accountability, Privacy by Design, data tracking and analytics.
Before joining IIS, Chong worked as a market researcher for ANOP Research Services Pty Ltd and as a legal assistant at Robert C. Minter Lawyers. He has developed strong communication and critical thinking skills, having contributed to the Sydney Law Review as a student editor.
He is currently the Deputy Editor of AERIS Magazine - the first bilingual (English-Chinese) online lifestyle magazine for Chinese youth based in Hong Kong. AERIS shares insight on the latest trends in arts, travel, dining, technology and fashion in combination with thoughtful perspective pieces.
Chong is a graduate of the University of Sydney, holding Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (Hons 1). He is currently undertaking a Graduate Diploma of Psychology at the University of Sydney.
